Summer Special: Free Kids "JINBEI" Rentals
Free "JINBEI" rentals for babies up to around 10 years old kids!
What is JINBEI?
“JINBEI” refers to traditional Japanese casual summer clothing. It is cool and easy to wear, so it is generally worn mainly by men and children.
It comes in the form of short sleeves and short pants, and can be enjoyed in various colors and patterns.
When it comes to summer attire in Japan, women wear “YUKATA” and men wear “JINBEI.” Although they look similar, strictly speaking, they are different from a “KIMONO.”
A “KIMONO” is relatively often worn in formal settings. “YUKATA” and “JINBEI” are casual clothing. Therefore, during summer outdoor events such as a “MATSURI,” Japanese people often go out wearing “JINBEI” or “YUKATA.” Because it is more casual than a kimono, it is popular every summer among young people as well.
This time, we have planned a free rental program for children's "JINBEI" so that you can fully enjoy the summer in Japan!
Unlike a ”YUKATA”, no dressing assistance is needed. You just need to tie a few strings. You can put it on yourself like pants. There is also a romper type of baby JINBEI.
