Take the Metrolink E Line to Visit Nihonbashi and Access Tokyo Station!

In October 2016, the Metrolink bus system added a new route that travels from the Tokyo Station to the Nihonbashi–Kyobashi area.
This bus runs from Tokyo Station Yaesuguchi to Ningyocho where this hotel is located, stopping at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store and other shops along the way for convenient sightseeing and shopping.

Today, our staff member A will introduce you to this bus!

The bus’s theme color is Yamabuki-iro, a traditional Japanese color named after the flowering shrub Yamabuki (known in English as the Japanese Kerria or Japanese rose bush).
This bright yellow color makes the bus stand out.

The “E” in “E Line” stands for EDO (Edo), Eco, East, Eat, and Enjoy.

E Line buses run every 22 minutes. If your schedule allows, please take advantage of this service.
Weekdays: 8:00–18:00 (No service on January 1)
Holidays: 10:00–20:00 (No service on January 1)

The closest stop to our hotel is this one, about a 2-minute walk away.

Hmm?

Let’s take another look, and this time, zoom in.

And, as you can see, this is a very unassuming bus stop that doesn’t really look like it belongs in a city setting....
All in all, it’s a very plain and inconspicuous stopping point....

But, after all, it is a “free bus,” so we shouldn’t complain!

This stop is the [Ningyocho 1-chome] stop.

It is located in front of Family Mart, just a short distance from Amazake Yokocho intersection.

Just in front of this bus stop, there is a more conspicuous bus stop where you can board a red bus, the Edo Bus. (This is a community bus of Chuo City which has a “one coin” fare of 100 yen, which is nice, although it is a little inconvenient for sightseeing....) That one stands out, and the free bus stop is behind it. Please be careful not to overlook it.

In addition, this bus doesn’t have a timetable!
It is rare to find such an irregular bus in the city.

However, people who have time are often willing to wait for about 20 minutes for a bus while chatting with others at this bus stop.

Please take advantage of this bus to do some sightseeing or just to enjoy a relaxing bus trip.
